Tenby Schools Ipoh was one of the pioneer schools for international education in Malaysia. Established in 1960 by Ms. Dorothy as a kindergarten for British Expatriate children. 

English is the primary medium of instruction, Malay and Mandarin are also taught as part of the foreign languages

Yes, we do have a school uniform which can be bought from school and differs for Early Years, Primary and Secondary. 

We are located in green, lush and serene part of Ipoh in Bandar Meru Raya – about 15 minutes from Ipoh town. 

We will consider SEN students on a case-by-case basis as at present we do not have a dedicated SEN department. 

Yes we do offer EAL support for students who have zero to minimal English. 

The school invites parents for a number of events organised by the school team – from celebration assemblies to school productions, coffee mornings to parents’ teachers conferences.

Our students represent the school in many different sporting events, from district level to state and national level. We have our football, basketball, badminton, swimming teams and more. 

Yes, to help them with homework and revision purposes but some books are kept in school. 

At present, lockers are readily available to secondary students while it isn’t available for primary students at present time.

Yes, it would be helpful as a lot of the school work and communication will be done through Microsoft Teams and a few other platforms. 

Termly PTCs (Parents-Teacher conferences) & SLCs (Student Lead Conferences) are organised to update parents on children’s progress.

We do not restrict students from bringing mobile phones to school but use of mobile phones during lessons are not permitted.
