International Schools Partnership

We’re proud to be part of International Schools Partnership – ISP, a global community of over 82 international schools across 23 countries. We are all committed to a shared purpose to grow the world’s most curious, confident minds.

Discover the ISP difference: a unique approach to learning

Every day at Tenby Schools Ipoh, we embark on a journey of transformation and discovery, guided by the ISP Learning.First.TM approach.

Learning.First is our unique approach to education. It means that we always put learners and their learning first. We honour our students as collaborators in the learning process. We’re creating environments where  ‘amazing learning’ happens – learning that goes beyond our students and families expectations –  amazing and surprising us with the transformational impact.

  • Transformative learning: Our student-centred design empowers each learner to exercise voice, choice and ownership in their learning process, building their confidence to lead their own learning and the learning of others.

Self-confidence:  Confidence is the key that unlocks personal success. It drives critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and communication. Decades of research support the notion that believing in your ability to do something enhances your ability to do it.

At ISP, we believe that education is the most important thing that we can give to future generations. Together, we are on a journey to deliver a transformative education to our students and families, giving them the knowledge, life competences and self-confidence to thrive in their own terms and contribute to a better world.

Opportunities to find passions and build life skills

Benefits of being part of ISP

  • for our students, they live transformative learning experiences inside and outside the classroom designed to develop the academics, knowledge and life-competences they need to thrive now and throughout their lifetime.

  • for our school, we leverage the power of a global network, accessing shared ideas, expertise and experiences. All ISP schools benefit from a continuous evidence-based improvement process known as the LIP – Learning Improvement Process, which measures the quality of learning.

  • for our teachers and leaders, they gain access to extensive accredited training to master the Learning.First™ methodology and develop their self-efficacy to contribute to the school, students and their own personal growth

Being part of the ISP global community opens a world of possibilities for our students. They get the chance to connect with fellow young minds across the globe, engaging in transformative learning experiences that extend well beyond the classroom boundaries.

Through our co-curricular activities and participation in ISP International Learning Opportunities for Students – ILOS programme – ranging from cultural exchanges and filmmaking to debating in the ISP Model United Nations  – our students pursue their passions, develop their life competencies, and are prepared to be confident, well-rounded global citizens.

ISP’s comprehensive career and university support structures guide our students to make informed decisions about their future pathways. With the exclusive range of scholarships and partnerships our students and families are supported with opportunities to explore potential career and academic portfolios, making them more accessible.

“Self-confidence is transformational. Creating learning experiences that build confidence first and foremost is the most powerful thing we can do for students. The more confidence you have, the more you engage your curiosity to explore the world around you and take action to learn and grow.”

Emily Porter – Chief Education and Innovation Officer at ISP
