Community

At Tenby Schools Ipoh, we are proud of the vibrant and dynamic community we’ve built! Families are truly at the heart of our school! Our vibrant and dedicated Parents' Association works closely with our staff, creating a strong partnership that enhances the school community and enriches the experience for every student. Together, we make sure that our school is a place where families feel valued, involved, and connected!

Epic Homes

Epic Homes is a Malaysian organisation dedicated to building affordable, high-quality homes with a focus on sustainability and eco-friendly practices. Based in Ipoh, Perak, our mission is to provide safe and comfortable housing for low-income communities. We also strive to create a positive social impact by involving marginalized groups, including refugees and underprivileged individuals, in the construction process.

Charity Christmas run

Every year, our students organise the Christmas Charity Run, bringing the Tenby community together for a meaningful cause. Participants run with purpose, raising funds that are donated to Epic Homes to support our work in building homes for underprivileged communities across Malaysia. This annual event celebrates the season of kindness and directly contributes to improving the lives of those in need. We’re incredibly proud of everyone who takes part and helps make a real difference in the community.

Karisma Humanitarian Outreach Mission (KHOM)

Karisma Humanitarian Outreach Mission (KHOM) is a local non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting those in need through various humanitarian initiatives. Their work focuses on providing assistance to vulnerable communities, offering aid, resources, and support where it is needed most.

Throughout the academic year, our primary students have shown incredible initiative by raising funds through a series of charity events, including selling chocolates, handmade crafts, and hosting an entrepreneurship fair. The funds raised were donated to KHOM to support their ongoing mission of helping those in need. Through their creativity, hard work, and commitment to kindness, our students made a positive impact on the community, demonstrating the true power of generosity and teamwork. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and their dedication to making a real difference in the lives of others.

Love and Hope Charity Drive

Every academic year, as part of our Student Empowerment Programme, Tenby Schools Ipoh launches a heartfelt campaign to support those in need. This year, our students organized a charity drive to help local needy homes and families who require assistance.

With the generous contributions from the Tenby community, we were able to collect essential items such as groceries, rice, canned food, diapers, biscuits, and other daily necessities. These donations were distributed to various homes and families in need across the area.

We are incredibly proud of our students for their leadership and commitment to making a difference. The overwhelming support from our parents, students, and staff was truly inspiring, and we extend our deepest thanks to everyone who contributed to this annual drive.

The small class sizes make it easier to participate in class and ask questions. I feel more comfortable and confident in the classroom.

To ensure effective learning, we assess students' prior knowledge before planning lessons. This personalised approach allows us to tailor instruction to each student's needs.

I love how the school empowers students to take the lead in productions like "Robin Hood." Seeing my daughter actively participate and take on a role was incredibly rewarding. It's a fantastic way to develop real-world skills.
