Express themselves
Children naturally explore their surroundings and grow curious about the world around them. Have you ever wondered how much fun they can have while learning? Our custom indoor and outdoor nature spaces for play offer just that - children enjoying themselves while picking up valuable skills along the way. As they learn to safely use equipment, they not only boost their coordination but also gain the confidence to express themselves.
Learning out loud
At our international kindergarten in Semenyih, children grow confidence by exploring new activities and expressing their preferences. Have you noticed how they feel more comfortable speaking up in familiar groups, sharing their ideas and choosing the materials they need? They also learn about emotions and behaviors, discussing their own and others' feelings while understanding the consequences of certain actions. Curious about how these skills help foster sensitivity and positive relationships with peers and adults? Come see how we grow curious, confident minds in an engaging, supportive environment!
Embracing multilingualism
All Early Years students enjoy weekly lessons with specialist Malay and Mandarin teachers alongside beginner sessions to build confidence in English. Every student is well-prepared for the next stage of their lives with a solid foundation in Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and English. Interested to see how this sets them up for success in a global community? Talk to us about how we bring language learning to life!
Love of reading and writing
We believe literacy should be exciting and engaging, sparking a lifelong love for reading and writing. Curious how this works in the Early Years? Children begin by reading simple sentences using new skills to decode and pronounce words fluently. They explore what they've read through discussions, deepening their understanding of stories. And when it comes to writing, they apply their phonic knowledge to form simple sentences that reflect their spoken words. The recent introduction of a new program, Monster Phonics, helps children learn common sounds in the English language and gain confidence by building on their sounds.
Problem-solving
Students develop maths skills by learning how to count from 1 to 20, how to sequence numbers and how to identify what comes before or after. They use real-world objects to add and subtract. They solve problems and tackle more advanced concepts like doubling, halving and sharing by counting objects backwards and forwards. They also use everyday language to compare size, weight and time, building essential problem-solving skills.
Wonder and intrigue
Children love to share stories, whether they’re about their own adventures or their family’s experiences. Have you noticed how curious they are about the differences and similarities between people, families and communities? They enjoy exploring the world around them—observing animals, plants, and objects, and asking why things happen the way they do. Little learners are encouraged to discover what makes their surroundings unique. From exploring nature to discussing changes they see, learning about the world becomes a fun and engaging adventure!

Explore the arts
Children love the joy of singing, making music and expressing themselves through dance. Have you seen how they experiment with colours and textures during art sessions? they explore their creativity in design and art by using different materials and tools. They also express their own ideas and feelings through role-play, storytelling and creative arts. At Tenby SEH, we celebrate this artistic exploration, fostering a welcoming and inclusive community. Be prepared for artistic masterpieces coming home for admiration!
