Our leadership team, comprising highly experienced teachers and staff leaders, are the pillars of our strength and success. As the link between philosophy and action, the role of our leadership team is crucial in personalising our approach of Amazing Learning for the benefit of each and every child.

Beyond classroom education, our teachers are committed to helping students develop core attributes necessary to attain success in their careers and life. This is achieved through instilling a sense of independence and resilience in them.

Martin Shelley
Campus Principal

Originally from New Zealand where he started his teaching career, Martin has taught in the UK for a number of years and has lived and taught in Malaysia for over 10 years as an SLT member, he joined Tenby International School Setia EcoHill in September 2019.

Martin holds QTS, a BA in English and Philosophy, an MA in Educational Leadership and Management, and three other postgraduate awards. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Emerging Technology in Education.

Martin believes the holistic development of children must be at the core of everything we do in our school, and that we must all strive to get better every single day. He is particularly passionate about emerging technologies, and sustainability, in education.

Martin has a wife, Mary Ann, and an 8 year old son in the primary school, he is a fanatic basketball fan and enjoys reading, travelling and working on craft projects with his family.

Meet our Leadership Team

Tracy Huxtable
Head of Primary

With an extensive 18-year background in education, Tracy became the Head of Primary and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead at Tenby International School Setia EcoHill in August 2024. As a dedicated educator, she emphasizes the importance of not only teaching content and curriculum but also nurturing the overall development of the child – academically, socially, and emotionally.

Tracy’s educational journey has encompassed diverse roles across Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the UK, spanning from classroom teaching at primary and secondary levels to curriculum coordination, Primary Principal, and Head of Whole School Teaching and Learning.

She holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Psychology from The Open University, United Kingdom, and a Master’s in Education with Distinction from The University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCEI) with Distinction from The University of Nottingham, United Kingdom and Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from British Council Colombo, Sri Lanka.

In her leisure time, Tracy cherishes moments spent with family and friends. On weekends, she indulges in long walks and reading, especially enjoying extended hikes followed by immersing herself in a good book.

Jeffrey Elliott
Head of Secondary

Jeffrey is originally from Canada and graduated with a BAH in Psychology in 2010. He started his career teaching ESL in Harbin, China and has since taught in the UK, Penang and has been residing in Kuala Lumpur for the past 3 years. Over his teaching career he has experience in a range of Humanities subjects and leadership experience at the Department, Pastoral and Secondary levels.

Jeffrey recently completed his Masters in Education and believes that the development of personal qualities such as resilience, cooperation and respect are equally important to academic achievement.

Hailing from Canada, Jeffrey is an avid hockey fan and enjoys other sports such as golf and squash. Other hobbies of his include trekking, running and sampling the delicious cuisines of Kuala Lumpur.
