At Tenby Tropicana Aman, children as young as three explore creativity and curiosity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum. Our play-based approach ensures well-rounded development, enhancing social, personal, physical, and communication skills. This foundation nurtures a lifelong love of learning and ensures a smooth transition into Key Stage 1 at our international primary school, making our Kota Kemuning kindergarten and preschool the ideal start to education.
Dedicated learning spaces
Young learners have access to a thoughtfully designed Early Years setting from 8:30am to 6:00pm, where they enjoy engaging lessons, play and grow in confidence.

Love of reading and writingÂ
Engaging phonics and storytelling foster literacy skills that inspire a lifelong connection with reading and writing. Learners confidently decode words, share ideas, and express themselves creatively. Through discussions, they’ll explore what they've read, deepening their understanding of stories. And when it comes to writing, they apply their phonic knowledge to form simple sentences that reflect their spoken words.
Problem solving
Children develop counting skills from 1 to 20, learning to sequence numbers and identify what comes before or after. By counting forwards and backwards, they solve problems and tackle more advanced concepts like doubling, halving and sharing. We use everyday examples to compare size, weight and time, building problem-solving skills in a fun way.
Wonder and intrigueÂ
Learners discover their place in the world by observing nature, sharing stories, and asking questions. Have you noticed how curious they are about the differences and similarities between people, families, and communities? They enjoy exploring the world around them—observing animals, plants, and objects, and asking why things happen the way they do. From exploring nature to discussing changes they see, learning about the world becomes a fun and engaging adventure!Â
We make sure literacy sparks a love for reading and writing from the very start. Children begin by reading simple sentences in their daily phonics classes, using new skills to decode and pronounce words accurately. Through fun discussions, they explore stories and deepen their understanding of what they’ve read. When it’s time for writing, they build on their phonics to create simple, meaningful sentences. Â
Explore the arts
Children can find joy in singing, making music and dance. Experimenting with different materials and tools fosters creativity, confidence, and a sense of accomplishment in design and art. They also express their own ideas and feelings through role-play, storytelling, and creative arts. Be prepared for artistic masterpieces coming home for admiration!Â

Every year, ISP students around the world take part in multicultural and multilingual experiences called International Learning Opportunities for Students (ILOS). Whether it’s becoming a United Nations delegate or directing a film, ILOSprogrammes open the world to every student.

Our Kota Kemuning kindergarten takes children aged 3 to 5, in Nursery and Reception. Children must have turned 3 by 1 September to start, and applications are accepted throughout the year, subject to space.
Our Early Years is the kindergarten and preschool stage of early childhood education at Tenby Tropicana Aman, for children aged 3 to 5. Learning is play-based, as in a playschool, but follows a structured curriculum, and children then move up to Year 1 in our international primary school.
Tenby Schools Tropicana Aman is on a 10-acre campus near Kota Kemuning, at No.1 Jalan Tropicana Aman, Jalan Utama 2, Bandar Tropicana Aman, Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor.
Drop-off is from 8:30am and home time is 2:30pm, Monday to Friday. Busy Tenbees Stay and Play, our after-school programme, extends the day until 6pm.
Learning is play-based and covers physical development, personal, social and emotional development, English and literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and arts and design.
For 2026-2027, the kindergarten and preschool term fee (Nursery and Reception) is RM7,030 (RM21,090 a year, three terms). The compulsory meal plan is RM650 per term and the refundable deposit is RM3,515. There is also an application fee, a one-off registration fee of RM5,000 and a resource fee of RM1,500 a year.
English is the main language of teaching, and children also learn Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. Children who need extra help with English can join the EAL programme, which has an additional fee.

Children in our Kota Kemuning preschool have their own Early Years playground and dining room, a shallow wading pool for water play, and swimming lessons.
Our safer recruitment process and safeguarding policies mean all staff are fully vetted and trained to keep the school a safe and nurturing place. The campus also has a fully equipped medical centre with a registered nurse and qualified staff.
