Ages 3-5Â
At Tenby Tropicana Aman, children as young as three explore creativity and curiosity with the EYFS Curriculum. Our play-based approach ensures well-rounded development, enhancing social, personal, physical, and communication skills. This foundation nurtures a lifelong love of learning and ensures a smooth transition into Key Stage 1 at Tenby International School, making our Kota Kemuning kindergarten the ideal start to education.
We follow the IEYC, sparking a love for learning with play-based fun that builds life skills and social development from an early age.
Express themselvesÂ
Movement and play help learners develop coordination, express themselves, and make healthy lifestyle choices. Our creative indoor and outdoor spaces support active engagement, building confidence and physical awareness.Â
Learning out loudÂ
Our learning out loud approach is all about making the learning process visible and collaborative. As children openly share their thoughts, questions and feelings, they grow their confidence and empathy. Teachers guide these interactions, helping children build self-awareness, form strong relationships and navigate emotions effectively. In our nurturing environment, children develop the resilience and communication skills to thrive socially and emotionally.Â
Love of reading and writingÂ
Engaging phonics and storytelling foster literacy skills that inspire a lifelong connection with reading and writing. Learners confidently decode words, share ideas, and express themselves creatively. Through discussions, they’ll explore what they've read, deepening their understanding of stories. And when it comes to writing, they apply their phonic knowledge to form simple sentences that reflect their spoken words.
Problem solving
Children develop counting skills from 1 to 20, learning to sequence numbers and identify what comes before or after. By counting forwards and backwards, they solve problems and tackle more advanced concepts like doubling, halving and sharing. We use every day examples to compare size, weight and time, essentially building problem-solving skills in a fun way.
Wonder and intrigueÂ
Learners discover their place in the world by observing nature, sharing stories, and asking questions. Have you noticed how curious they are about the differences and similarities between people, families, and communities? They enjoy exploring the world around them—observing animals, plants, and objects, and asking why things happen the way they do. From exploring nature to discussing changes they see, learning about the world becomes a fun and engaging adventure!Â
We make sure literacy sparks a love for reading and writing from the very start. Children begin by reading simple sentences in their daily phonics classes, using new skills to decode and pronounce words accurately. Through fun discussions, they explore stories and deepen their understanding of what they’ve read. When it’s time for writing, they build on their phonics to create simple, meaningful sentences. Â
Explore the arts
Children can find joy in singing, making music and dance. Experimenting with different materials and tools fosters creativity, confidence, and a sense of accomplishment in design and art. They also express their own ideas and feelings through role-play, storytelling, and creative arts. Be prepared for artistic masterpieces coming home for admiration!Â

Our schools are clear about the knowledge and skills students need to succeed academically.
Beyond that, our schools are equipped with innovative curricula, a research-backed learning approach and high-impact assessment tools, all designed to deepen each student’s understanding. Continuous improvement is fundamental to ISP.
All our schools follow a learning improvement framework which monitors performance against selected criteria proven to best support student learning.
It helps us enhance our approach to have the greatest impact on students’ success.
We believe that there are some key life skills that all students need to thrive. These include everything from digital literacy to global awareness.
These skills prepare them to adapt to a rapidly changing world, make informed decisions, and build meaningful relationships, setting a strong foundation for lifelong success and fulfilment.
ISP students develop these skills over the course of their school years, through learning experiences inside and outside the classroom.
International learning is part of our schools’ DNA. Our students are encouraged to explore a range of world languages.
We ensure all our students can communicate and collaborate confidently in at least one world language (usually English, Mandarin, Arabic, Spanish or French), in addition to their home languages.
Every year, iSP students around the world take part in multicultural and multilingual experiences called International Learning Opportunities for Students (ILOS). Whether it’s becoming a United Nations delegate or directing a film, ILOSprogrammes open the world to every student.
Every ILOS experience encourages students to discover their true interests as they prepare to succeed in today’s global society.
