Exploring worlds through words Â
We inspire a love for reading, writing and storytelling. Students develop skills in reading comprehension, creative writing, grammar and vocabulary. Through the Talk 4 Writing programme and daily phonics sessions, children develop strong reading, writing and communication skills. This approach encourages creativity by using storytelling and interactive activities to build confidence in literacy. Â
Developing analytical minds Â
Our enhanced lessons encourage logical thinking and problem-solving. Learners study arithmetic, geometry and statistics, later exploring algebra and solving equations. Practical activities build a solid foundation for future learning. The White Rose Maths programme offers a structured way to develop fluency, reasoning and problem-solving. Lessons incorporate practical tools and interactive activities, making mathematical concepts easy to understand and enjoyable.Â
Discovering the wonders of science Â
Learners study biology, chemistry and physics through hands-on experiments. They learn about living organisms, materials, forces and energy. Science classes ignite curiosity and encourage exploration. White Rose Science helps students explore the natural world through hands-on experiments and inquiry-based learning. The curriculum promotes curiosity, encouraging children to think like young scientists.Â
Embracing future technology Â
We learn basic coding, digital literacy, internet safety and use the latest software. Projects enhance problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, preparing us for an ever-evolving digital world. Students develop digital literacy and coding skills, introducing them to robotics and programming through engaging, interactive activities. These programmes help students build essential skills for the future.
Tuning into the rhythmÂ
Students immerse themselves in the joy of music by learning an instrument, singing, and participating in performances. These activities foster creativity, self-expression and teamwork. Students can also learn to play musical instruments with professional instructors during extracurricular activities.   Â
Growing togetherÂ
Personal, Social & Health Education help us understand and manage our emotions, build healthy relationships and develop social skills. We learn about mental health, physical wellbeing and our roles in the community. Â
Fitness first
Physical Education classes focus on building physical fitness, teamwork, and coordination. Students participate in various sports and physical activities, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
MultilingualismÂ
Primary students have the unique opportunity to broaden their linguistic skills as part of their daily curriculum. They study English, Chinese Mandarin, or Malay which not only strengthens their language proficiency but also immerses them in the diverse cultures around them. To further enhance their global communication skills, we also offer an array of afterschool language activities including Spanish, French, Tamil, Japanese, and Korean. Â
Express themselves
Through Art & Design, students are encouraged to express themselves creatively and develop their artistic skills by exploring a variety of mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture and digital design. This subject not only builds fine motor skills but also nurtures critical thinking, creativity and the ability to communicate visually. Students are guided to understand cultural influences on art, exploring the rich artistic traditions of both local and international cultures.Â
This subject fosters appreciation for cultural diversity, social development, and the complexity of human societies.
In History, students explore significant events, peopl, and civilisations that have shaped the world. They engage with timelines, historical sources, and turning points, making connections between past and present while developing critical thinking, inquiry, and analytical skills.
In Geography, students study natural and human environments, from Malaysia’s landscapes to global ecosystems, exploring sustainability, climate change, and natural disasters, fostering care for the planet.

Our schools are clear about the knowledge and skills students need to succeed academically.
Beyond that, our schools are equipped with innovative curricula, a research-backed learning approach and high-impact assessment tools, all designed to deepen each student’s understanding. Continuous improvement is fundamental to ISP.
All our schools follow a learning improvement framework which monitors performance against selected criteria proven to best support student learning.
It helps us enhance our approach to have the greatest impact on students’ success.
We believe that there are some key life skills that all students need to thrive. These include everything from digital literacy to global awareness.
These skills prepare them to adapt to a rapidly changing world, make informed decisions, and build meaningful relationships, setting a strong foundation for lifelong success and fulfilment.
ISP students develop these skills over the course of their school years, through learning experiences inside and outside the classroom.
International learning is part of our schools’ DNA. Our students are encouraged to explore a range of world languages.
We ensure all our students can communicate and collaborate confidently in at least one world language (usually English, Mandarin, Arabic, Spanish or French), in addition to their home languages.
Every year, iSP students around the world take part in multicultural and multilingual experiences called International Learning Opportunities for Students (ILOS). Whether it’s becoming a United Nations delegate or directing a film, ILOSprogrammes open the world to every student.
Every ILOS experience encourages students to discover their true interests as they prepare to succeed in today’s global society.
Every year, ISP students around the world take part in multicultural and multilingual experiences called International Learning Opportunities for Students (ILOS). Whether it’s becoming a United Nations delegate or directing a film, ILOSprogrammes open the world to every student.
iSP’s bespoke university and careers-related programme, Future Pathways, helps students to make informed choices about their future.
We work with each student to explore their academic skills and interests.
Then we bring experts in their field to share practical insights and guide students on their next steps to help them reach their university, college, or career of choice

Our House System provides children with opportunities to be rewarded for their efforts outside the classroom, where they can earn House Points for  their participation in areas such as sport, environmental work, community service, and culture and creativity. Our house groups are Dragon, Falcon, Tiger and Phoenix. Each House has its own unique character and associated strengths and attributes.Â
Further afield
We love planning exciting experiences for our primary students. Throughout the year, we arrange delightful day trips to fascinating places such as Animals’ Field Trip to Sunway Lagoon Wildlife Park, Trip to KidZania Kuala Lumpur, Educational Visit to National Science Centre and Day Trip to Paradise Valley, Broga Hill. These trips enrich our students' learning outside the traditional classroom setting. SA particular highlight for Year 6 students is the residential camp in their final year at primary. These trips are not only great fun but also a valuable opportunity for students to strengthen friendships and develop independence. These trips create lasting memories and important learning opportunities outside the classroom.Â
Next steps
To ensure a smooth transition from Primary to Secondary, we organise the Year 6 Transition programme to help young learners familiarise themselves with the Secondary settings. By getting them to know the teachers, the whereabouts of the classrooms and the subjects, they'll be better prepared. Every student will be paired up with a buddy from Secondary School who can guide them through any changes.Â
