International week at TTA 2024 - celebrating diversity

International Week at Tenby International School Tropicana Aman was a vibrant and enriching celebration of the rich cultural diversity within our school community. Students, parents, and staff came together to explore, share, and appreciate the unique traditions and heritage from around the globe. 

Event Highlights 

      •     Cultural Performances: 

Students from various year groups showcased their talents with traditional dances, music, and storytelling. Each performance reflected the unique cultures represented in our school. 

      •     Classroom Activities: 

      -    Early Years and Primary: Engaged in fun activities like flag-making, learning greetings in different languages, and sampling traditional costumes. 

      -    Secondary: Delved deeper into global issues with discussions, presentations, and projects highlighting global citizenship and cultural awareness. 

      •     Food Fayre: 

Parents and students brought the event to life with a fantastic food fayre, featuring dishes from around the world. The stalls offered a delightful array of cuisines, from savoury to sweet, giving everyone a chance to savour international flavours. 

      •     Cultural Booths: 

Interactive booths set up by parents and students provided hands-on experiences like trying on traditional attire, exploring artifacts, and learning about historical traditions from different countries. 

      •     Parade of Nations: 

Students dressed in national costumes proudly walked in the Parade of Nations, representing the cultures they love and celebrate. 

Acknowledgements 

A heartfelt thank you to our parents, who contributed delicious food and cultural knowledge to the event, and to our staff for their dedication in organising activities across all year groups. 

International Week 2024 truly captured the essence of global unity and respect, leaving everyone with memories to treasure. We look forward to continuing this celebration of diversity in the years to come!
