Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens

What is Amazing Learning? Have you had an “Oh no!” moment that turned into an “Oh wow!” moment?

At Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens and as a community, we believe that each learning journey is unique and it is about getting better.

We encourage our students to think the problem through, ask questions, and find the best solutions. They are resilient and persistent. They don’t give up and they “wow” themselves because they have done better than they thought they could!

Experience learning that is truly Amazing!
Turn those "Oh no" moments into "Oh wow" moments today!

At Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens, we believe that a “good struggle” is necessary to experience breakthroughs. A good struggle is challenging yet empowering. It is when students persevere and have a sense of success towards achieving goals and outcomes. At the end of the day, we want our students to say ‘I didn’t realise I could do that but I found a way!’ We nurture our students not just academically but holistically too by developing the life skills they need to thrive regardless of what the future may be!

Meet Ms. Helen
"Amazing Learning is opening the door for students to achieve great things that allow them to experience a 'wow' moment," - Ms. Helen, Teacher
Meet Ms. Shikin
"Amazing Learning to me is when students engage effectively and are having fun during the lesson. They challenge themselves and sometimes achieve beyond expectations." - Ms Shikin, Teacher
Meet Ms. Suzanne
“Amazing Learning to me is very subjective. It might be a small kind of achievement that we are able to achieve. However, if it brings us from an "oh no" to an "oh wow" moment, that is Amazing Learning.” – Ms Suzanne, Head of Sekolah Sri Tenby, Secondary

Amazing Learning Highlights

Reception cooking demo - IPC Topic: We Are What We Eat.

It was a special day for our Reception students as they welcomed two of our very own Tenby Moms to perform a cooking demo. Mrs. Chang Mi has 3 children and Mrs. Hyejeong has 2 children at Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens (Johor) and they have been at our school for a number of years. Both are from Korea. They happily taught our young students how to make their famous gimbap. Superb teaching and taste, thank you Moms!

A fun way of learning numeracy!

Our Year 4 students had to make a human bar graph to represent the date of students' preference in each subject. Learning can be fun and brings amazing outcomes.

Time Tunnel at Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens

Our Year 5 students are currently exploring a unit called The Time Tunnel. This unit introduces historical events and personalities across cultures like Julius Caesar, Cleopatra, and more! They are now approaching the end of unit and are ready to culminate their understandings and skills obtained in this unit through the Exit Point. They conducted a gallery walk to wrap up this unit with a Time Tunnel Ride!
