At Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park, we believe that a “good struggle” is necessary to experience breakthroughs. A good struggle is challenging yet empowering. It is when students persevere and have a sense of success towards achieving goals and outcomes. And at the end of the day, we want our students to say ‘I didn’t realise I could do that but I found a way!’ We nurture our students not just academically but holistically too by developing the life skills they need to thrive regardless of what the future may be!
Amazing Learning Highlights
Our Standard 2 students discover the Amazing stages of different life cycles by illustrating each stage on paper plates. They were then required to present their illustrations to their peers during class. The paper plate crafts are a great way for students to visualise the life cycle as its circular shape helps them better grasp the concept of "Cycle". It is, after all, the Circle of Life! Truly an #AmazingLearning experience for our students.
Check out our Year 11 students doing a practice on designing earthquake resistant buildings by using limited materials. The activity that's called Earthquake Mitigation certainly challenged the students' creativity.
Learning is fun, and our Standard 1 students had a fun activity using magnets to see the strength and effects of magnets on toy cars when two same poles and two different poles are brought close. They also learned about a complete electrical circuit.
