Personal support
At the Learning Centre in Sekolah Sri Tenby, we support students' Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs with the help of specialist staff. Our team works closely with students aged 8 to 17 who may be facing personal challenges. We believe in a collaborative approach, involving parents, teachers, and caregivers to create a supportive environment. By identifying the root causes of any difficulties and offering solutions, we help students build coping skills and foster positive experiences both in and outside of school.Â
Future pathways
Our dedicated team works closely with each secondary student to guide them on the pathway that suits them best. This personalised support begins in the primary years and continues throughout secondary. Along with one-on-one guidance, students participate in the Annual ISP Future Pathways Festival (University Fair), Future Skills sessions, and have access to the Unifrog Education platform. All students also have the opportunity to attend talks and workshops during Future Skills put on by university lecturers on topics from psychology to medicine and from Australia to the US, some of these will also be run through specialist lessons.  These resources help students make informed decisions about their future steps and ensure they are prepared for what comes next. Here's an outline of the support throughout the secondary years.
Student leadership opportunities
At our national school in Shah Alam, we offer a variety of child leadership roles that encourage students to take responsibility, build confidence, and develop essential teamwork and communication skills. Whether leading their peers in group projects, helping organise events, or representing their class, these roles help students grow into responsible, self-assured individuals ready for future challenges. These opportunities include; Â
House communities
Our whole campus House System provides children with opportunities to be rewarded for their efforts outside the classroom, where they can earn House Points for their participation in areas such as sport, environmental work, community service, and culture and creativity.Â
Duke of Edinburgh
We are proud to offer the Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) which is a youth development program that challenges young people (ages 14-24) to engage in personal growth and community involvement. We offer the two levels—Bronze and Silver—and participants must complete activities in four areas: Volunteering, Physical, Skills, and an Expedition. The award is recognised globally and helps young people develop confidence, leadership, and life skills.
