Tenby Schools began in 1960 as a kindergarten for British expatriates in Malaysia. Founded by a pioneering teacher who named the school after her hometown Tenby in Wales, it quickly became one of the country’s first international schools. 

Over the next 40 years, Tenby Schools introduced the Malaysian Primary School Curriculum alongside the English curriculum, pioneering a dual-stream system. 

In 2008, Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park was established in Setia Alam, offering premium education to families in the Klang Valley. 

Tenby Schools joined the International Schools Partnership, connecting with schools worldwide.

Since opening in 2008, Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park has grown into a learning-focused campus for both International and Malaysian National curriculums in the Klang Valley. Situated in the vibrant township of Setia Alam, our school is easily reachable from Klang, Shah Alam, and Petaling Jaya. Designed as the group’s first purpose-built campus, we are proud to offer top-tier facilities across 20 acres. 

We are proud that our graduates received entry to their first choice university destination for the past four years. We consistently rank as one of the highest achieving international schools in Malaysia when it comes to academic results, and our excellence can be seen across both the International (Tenby International School) and Malaysian National (Sekolah Sri Tenby) streams.

Discover passions and build life skills through extracurricular activities, cultural exchanges, and unique ISP programmes like ILOS - International Learning Opportunities for Students, preparing for a connected and ever-changing world. SEP students also have the opportunity to take part in more than 110 extra curricular activities giving them time and space to follow their passions.

Our pastoral teams work closely with teachers to provide the academic, emotional and social support students need. Through our dedicated space, The Learning Centre,  students are able to access more support when needed.
