Shah Alam, Selangor – A recent fundraising effort by the local community has resulted in a significant contribution to Epic Homes, a non-profit organization dedicated to building homes for Orang Asli families in Malaysia. The generous sum of RM60,000 raised has enabled students from the community to volunteer alongside Epic Homes in Kampung Orang Asli Hulu Kuang, where they are helping to paint homes and bring joy to the local residents.
Epic Homes’ mission is to foster stronger ties between communities by providing housing solutions for Orang Asli families. The organization's collaborative approach has resonated with the local community, which has embraced the opportunity to participate in meaningful volunteer work and make a tangible difference in the lives of others.
The students involved in the project expressed their enthusiasm for the experience, highlighting the sense of accomplishment and satisfaction derived from contributing to such a worthwhile cause. The positive impact of their efforts was evident in the smiles of the Orang Asli families who received their newly painted homes.
As the community celebrates the success of this initial collaboration with Epic Homes, plans are already underway for future involvement in the organization's projects.
