Welcome to Tenby Setia Eco Gardens!
I am honoured to have joined this school at such an exciting time in its development. After ten successful years on our beautiful Johor Bahru site, we are moving forward and putting ambitious plans in place for the next ten years. It is an exciting time to be on campus, driving changes which will ensure every child continues to experience amazing learning and inspirational success for the next ten years and beyond.
SCHOOL OF CHOICE
We offer a unique dual syllabus model at Setia Eco Gardens, with our International and National schools offering high standards of learning which meet the differing needs of our parent community.
Whichever school they are studying in, our aim is for every one of our students to experience learning success at levels which amaze and inspire them. They will leave us equipped as successful, globally-minded citizens.
HERITAGE
We have been part of the Johor Bahru educational environment for 10 years, establishing deep roots here with our parent community and with our wider partnerships in the district and region.
As part of the Tenby Schools Group, we draw upon 60 years of academic experience and excellence. Along with our 8 partner schools in the rest of Malaysia, we teach over 8000 students, giving us a wealth of knowledge, skills, experience and resources to share across our whole group.
Furthermore, we are part of the global ISP schools group, giving us partnerships with a global community of teachers and students in 72 schools around the world.
LEARNING SUCCESS
Our learning approach at Tenby Setia Eco Gardens uses globally-recognised, rigorous academic curricula, evidence-based learning approaches and a commitment to the holistic development of the child through amazing learning experiences both within and beyond the classroom.
We set ambitious targets for them and for ourselves, with our best ever iGCSE results in 2022 and a determination to continue to improve year on year. Our Sekolah Sri Tenby students follow the rigorous National Curriculum building towards strong SPM results, with Mathematics and Science taught in English.
We have a strong Future Pathways programme on campus which gives students access to local, national and international educational opportunities after they complete their studies here at Tenby.
ONE CAMPUS
We are one united campus, drawing upon the strengths and resources of our National and International Schools for the benefit of all students. Thanks to this, all of us have a global outlook and a respect for diversity, difference and other points of view.
Our beautiful campus has fantastic facilities for our students to support their learning, including specialist class spaces for Art, Music & Technology, extensive sports facilities including playing fields, sports hall, swimming pool and wading pool for little ones and wonderful performance spaces such as our auditorium.
We continue to develop and innovate the campus for future student learning needs. Central to this is our new STEAM centre, opening January 2024, where our 21st century labs and learning spaces will allow our pupils to explore, collaborate, create and develop as amazing Tenby learners.

Our vision is for our students to grow into successful, globally minded citizens. They will develop strength of character alongside academic excellence, through a breadth of learning experiences which build resilience, determination and integrity.

Ms Elizabeth Grundy
Elizabeth joined Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens in 2023. She has spent more than 20 years in Education. She has experience in school leadership and headship in two highly successful UK schools and is joining us after 3 years as the Head of International Primary at Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park. She has a BSc in Genetics, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, and is currently studying for the National Professional Qualification in Executive Leadership. Her philosophy of teaching and school leadership is simple – to put students at the heart of everything we do and ensure they receive the highest-quality education we can offer.
