Ms Elizabeth Grundy
Campus Principal

 

Elizabeth Grundy joined Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens in 2023. She has spent more than twenty years in education; she has experience in school leadership and headship in two highly successful UK schools and is joining us after three years as Head of School at Tenby International Primary, Setia Eco Park. She has a BSc in Genetics, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, and is currently studying for the National Professional Qualification in Executive Leadership. Her philosophy of teaching and school leadership is simple: to put students at the heart of everything we do and ensure they receive the highest-quality education we can offer.

Victoria Johnson
Head of Tenby International Schools, Primary

Hailing from Lincolnshire in England Ms Vicky holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Teaching and Learning and has been working full time in Education for over 20 Years. After enjoying teaching across the primary age range, Ms Vicky was soon promoted to the leadership position of Deputy Head and her commitment, dedication and passion ensured very successful improvements were made. For Ms Vicky’s first headship role, she was appointed Executive Head Teacher of two schools that needed rapid improvement. Ms Vicky quickly implemented new changes and successfully led the schools through a very complimentary Ofsted Inspection. Her first International Post was in Doha, Qatar (Al Jazeera Academy) where she successfully assisted with the accreditation by WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges). Arriving in Malaysia in 2019, Ms Vicky then worked in Nilai (Nilai International School) as the Primary Headteacher where she was also given the responsibility of whole school improvement for both Primary and Secondary teachers. She is very passionate about building strong, effective teams where students are at the heart of every decision made.

Michael Dyer
Head of Tenby International School, Secondary

With a BA (Hons)in History from the University of Plymouth and PGCE from Bath Spa University, Michael has many years of experience as an educator and school leader working in the UK and Malaysia.

He joined Tenby SEG in 2013 when the school opened and is currently studying a Master’s in International School Leadership from Wilkes University, USA.

 

Suzanne Laong Anak Clement Etan
Head of Sekolah Sri Tenby

Suzanne graduated from University Teknologi Malaysia with a B.Ed. in Living Skills and Technology. She has 10 years of working experience in government schools a brings with her a great passion for teaching, driven by her belief that each and every child deserves a bright future. As a teacher, Suzanne hopes to play an important role to help them achieve their goals and guide them towards successful career choices.

Ainnie Radzwien
Deputy Head of Tenby International School, Primary

Ms Ainnie Ahmad graduated from University of Missouri-Rolla USA, with a BSc in Electrical Engineering. She later perused her passion for teaching and learning with a PGCEi  from Queen’s University, Belfast, UK. She came into the teaching profession to make a positive impact on children’s lives, enabling them to become lifelong learners.

She started off as a teaching assistant and worked with children across all key stages. Upon completing her PGCEi she went on to becoming mile post leader, IPC coordinator and has been a committee chair for school improvements exercise. She believes wholeheartedly in the importance of providing children with high quality education, shaping them to be independent, high achieving individuals ready to face the outside world.

Christine Mukui
Deputy Head of Tenby International School, Secondary

Christine is originally from Nairobi, Kenya. She graduated from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa in 2013 with a Bachelor of Education degree in English and Literature. In 2015, she completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCEi) from the University of Nottingham, UK. This was her gateway into teaching in international schools, having completed four years in Kenya and two years in Malaysia.

Christine’s passion for teaching stems from her love of the English Language. Ultimately, the world can be viewed as being comprised of many different conversations. She believes that powerful teaching and learning in English helps students access these conversations and learn when and how to add their voices.

Maimunah Hamsan
Deputy Head of Sekolah Sri Tenby
Holding a Master’s Degree in Technical and Vocational Education from Universiti Tun Hussien Onn Malaysia. Maimunah is passionate about teaching and learning. She believes that this career is a pure career because it can educate and nurture knowledgeable young people. Has more than 5 years of teaching experience and always ensures that the interests of students come first so that amazing learning will occur and the objective of the learning will be achieved.
