2023/24 entry now open for our #BeTheChange Scholarship
Tenby International School Penang reaches a significant milestone with the inauguration of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Maths) Engine. To commemorate this achievement, we are launching the Be the Change Scholarship, a unique opportunity for students in Year 7 to 9 or Form 1 to 3 who are passionate about being the change they wish to see.
Who is a Changemaker?
Changemakers embody determination and persistence, qualities that allow them to effect meaningful breakthroughs. At Tenby International School, we believe that the leaders of tomorrow will emerge from a diverse mix of backgrounds and disciplines. As a result, we warmly welcome applications from students across Malaysia.
The #BeTheChange Scholarship serves as both financial assistance and a chance for you to showcase your creativity, leadership abilities, and commitment to creating a positive impact. Hence if you are a high-performing student with a drive to succeed and a desire to create positive change in the world, we encourage you to apply for this exciting new scholarship for Year 7, 8 and 9.
Scholarship Application Criteria and Process
You can apply for the #BeTheChange Scholarship by uploading a 60-second video in response to the question: What do you want to change? Whether you are an artist, activist or inventor, or have a strong interest in science and technology, we are eager to hear about your vision for an improved future.
The video must be recorded in landscape format and submitted to us by Sunday, 22 June 2023. Subsequently, our panel of judges will review all the entries and select the most compelling one.
