At all Tenby Schools, we apply a holistic, evidence-based philosophy designed to build the character of students and empower lifelong, independent learning. With our extensive experience in providing international quality education, our educators are able to challenge students on a personal, individualised basis, enabling exposure to repeated experiences that push students towards true breakthroughs in learning.
Our campus was built in 2011 and hosts both our International (Tenby International School) and Malaysian National (Sekolah Sri Tenby) schools. The purpose-built campus contains a wealth of academic resources complemented by state-of-the-art technologies that support the curriculum and classrooms.
Our reputation for being among the best value schools in the area is derived from our strong emphasis on providing students with wider experiences, by encouraging participation in activities such as The Duke Of Edinburgh’s International Award, Model United Nations, international trips and more.
We are nurturing future leaders with a new approach to education, pillared on STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics. Delivered within innovative spaces, STEAM learning encourages students to apply insights across subjects and solve real-world problems creatively.
The STEAM Engine will open in September 2023 and will integrate a Makerspace, Lego Robotics and Coding Zone, Science Labs, Digital Media Suite, Black Box Theatre and more.
We are extremely proud of our students‘ consistent high achievements when it comes to academic results. This excellence can be seen across both our International and Malaysian National schools.
We celebrate our students’ outstanding performance in the 2018/19 IGCSE examinations, with 93% scored A* – C in English, Maths and Science, while 82% of our A Levels students scored A* – C. Many of them have gone on to study in top universities across the world.
We believe that our academic success is due to an ideal blend of local and international educators and approaches. Whichever curriculum your child studies, he or she will benefit from an international approach to school life that blends academic focus with a wide variety of pastoral and after-school activities to promote well-rounded development.
As part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), we benefit from the wisdom, research and rich educational experience of a group with 50 schools in 15 countries worldwide.
In everything we do, we aim to bring to life moments of Amazing Learning.
Amazing Learning is all about going beyond the level a student thinks possible, and it happens when children are provided opportunities for “good struggle”, where they are exposed to repeated experiences that develop character in perseverance and learning.
We believe that with struggle comes the opportunity to experience breakthroughs. Ultimately, we want children to surprise themselves (and their teachers and parents), so that they can say, “I didn’t realise I could do that until now!”
