Many of today’s most in-demand jobs didn’t exist ten years ago. That pace of change is why Tenby students not only achieve outstanding exam results, but also build the curiosity, skills and confidence to thrive in the unknown.

Meet our team
Andrei

I joined in Year 7 barely able to express myself in English. Now, I have the confidence to use it every day.

Andrei

Year 9

Julian

Through music events, school productions, World Scholar’s Cup, and Model United Nations, I have learned that character is what gives us the determination to keep trying and learning. More importantly, it helps us distinguish what is right morally, allowing us to stay true to ourselves.

Julian

Year 9

A'lysha

The school and the community have empowered me to take risks, step out of my comfort zone, and be resilient to achieve my goals.

A'lysha

Form 5

Lizzie and May, Tenby students

If you really want something and are willing to work hard for it, you can achieve it at Tenby

May and Lizzie

Year 5

Hui Ling

I believe that every experience, whether successful or challenging, is an opportunity to learn. Critical thinking helps me look beyond the outcome, reflect on what happened and understand how I can grow from it. By asking questions, listening to feedback, and learning from mistakes, I become a better version of myself.

Hui Ling

Form 4

Vaisnavi

I always look forward to coming to school each morning, ready to learn and develop new skills.

Vaisnavi

Form 1

Tonkla

Teachers here taught me to embrace my mistakes and learn from them.

Tonkla

Year 10

Sarah

My favourite moment in Tenby was never a singular moment, but something Tenby helped me build brick by brick, from my first assembly to my first trophy and certificate in a global competition. To succeed requires the creativity to shape "what you did wrong" into "what you will do next".

Sarah

Year 9

Callum

Every day, I see students taking creative risks in class because they know they’re in a safe, supportive environment that values effort over perfection.

Callum

Assistant Head Teacher

Ryotaro (Roy)

My best moment at Tenby has been seeing how much I have changed. When I first joined, I was not confident in my English. Now, I am happy to take part in activities, debates, and presentations, and I have made many friends along the way.

Ryotaro (Roy)

Year 8

Dr. Sathisha

We are creating a hands-on learning environment where students can innovate, explore and discover.

Dr. Sathisha

STEAM Coordinator

Jeremy, parent of a Tenby school student

I've had many positive experiences with teachers who are proactive in identifying areas where students need additional support. They're not just focused on delivering lessons and marking essays; they genuinely care about their students' well-being.

Jeremy

Parent of International School

Namish

I enjoy sports and competitions because they push me to do my best, but I also love drawing and coming up with new ideas. Creativity gives me the freedom to express myself and think beyond the obvious. It helps me stay curious, solve problems in different ways, and enjoy the process of learning something new.

Namish

Standard 5

Yaseen

Tenby's science programme is a great blend of hands-on, project-based learning and inquiry-based learning. We delve into the world through practical applications, like designing rockets, fostering teamwork and critical thinking.

Yaseen

Head of Science, Secondary International

Gain

I love learning new things in IPC and science, especially when I get to explore and collaborate with others. Collaboration is important because no one achieves great things alone.

Gain

Year 4

Antti and Helena

One of the reasons we chose Tenby over other international schools is its unique structure. Tenby offers both an international school and a national school within the same campus. This allows our children to connect more deeply with the multicultural society of Malaysia, which we believe is invaluable.

Antti and Helena

Alumni Parents of International School

Kenneth

I feel that it's very important for our son to develop essential life skills, but more importantly, right now he knows what it means to give back to society.

Kenneth

Parent of National Primary

Leo

Through volunteering and sports, I have learned that critical thinking and creativity often go hand in hand. Thinking carefully about problems helps me approach challenges with confidence and develop creative ideas that can inspire others and create meaningful change.

Leo

Year 6

Yuju

Working on projects and presentations with my classmates is one of my favourite parts of school. Being involved in sports and co-curricular activities has taught me the value of perseverance, teamwork, and respect.

Yuju

Year 7

Harshietha

Being part of a positive and caring school community is something I value deeply. Through my involvement in the wellbeing council, I have learned the importance of making sure people feel included, supported, and valued.

Harshietha

Form 3

Kendra

Some of my favourite moments in school are working with my friends during group activities and spending time with them during break and lunch. Collaboration is important because it allows us to share ideas, support each other, and work together instead of doing everything on our own.

Kendra

Standard 5

Azlan

What I enjoy most about school is being surrounded by friends and classmates from different backgrounds. It gives me the opportunity to meet new people, learn from their experiences, and build meaningful friendships.

Azlan

Standard 6

Erika

My favourite lessons are IPC and science because I enjoy creating new things and learning how things work. Creativity is important because it helps us use our imagination to come up with new ideas. Those ideas can become games, robots, AI, inventions, or solutions to problems.
