Tenby Schools Penang Celebrates Our Long-Standing Families of 10 Years and Beyond

At Tenby Schools Penang, we believe that a school is much more than just classrooms and corridors — it’s the people who walk them, year after year, that bring it to life.

On the 10th of April, we celebrated our parents have been part of the Tenby family for 10 years and beyond in a heartwarming ceremony held at Penang Marriott Hotel.

The atmosphere was a mix of pride, nostalgia, and excitement for the future. Long-standing friendships were celebrated, and new ones were sparked, proving once again that Tenby is not just a school — it's a community that becomes a second home.

Each family received a special commemorative gift and certificate — small tokens of appreciation for a decade’s worth of priceless moments.

Among the parents present were Sugguna and Mohan, who shared heartfully "Some of our favourite memories of Tenby include watching and supporting the Tenby Netball team winning the MSSPP finals for 2 years straight".

Ravi and Renuka who were also present shared "Watching our son Kuhan participating as one of the main characters in the Under the Sea concert held at Straits Quat was one of our most memorable memories. It was empowering."

To our 10-year families, thank you for believing in us. Thank you for growing with us. Thank you for letting us be a part of your family’s story.
Here’s to many more years of learning, laughter,
