Step into the future of STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics - as we unveil our plans to transform into a STEAM specialist school with a state-of-the-art centre opening in September 2023.
A special Open Day will unveil the plans for the new 75,000-square-foot ‘STEAM Engine’. The centre is designed to foster collaboration and redefine the way our teachers and students interact and learn. The highly flexible design features open, transparent and collaborative spaces.
Amazing Learning spaces in the new building include:

- Makerspace
- Lego, Robotics and Coding Zone
- Design Technology Suite
- Food Tech Kitchen
- Science Labs
- Digital Media Suite
- Art Studio
- Black Box Theatre.
Alongside a new community café and building renovations to the existing classrooms and extended Learning Support Centre.
Campus Principal Jeanne Denyer said: “A sophisticated STEAM-enhanced curricula will always be in tune with the skills needed locally and globally. STEAM is set to power both emerging and established global economies and is a lifeline into Penang government’s 2030 vision to transform Penang into a modern and smart state”.
A special naming ceremony at Tenby Schools Penang will be held on Saturday, 26 November 2022. As well as the big reveal, the international school will host free learning activities for the whole family, including Motivating Mathematics, Get Creative Arts, Pixel Animation and a Scavenger Hunt. Light refreshments and campus tours will be available.
