Tenby Schools Heritage

Our journey began in 1960 with the establishment of Tenby Schools in Ipoh. What started as a kindergarten for British expatriates has grown into six campuses across Malaysia.

We offer two distinct streams, ranging for ages 2 – 18 years.

  • Tenby International School: Premier British international education
  • Sekolah Sri Tenby: Top-tier private local education

Our commitment extends beyond academic achievement, focusing on nurturing the knowledge, understanding and life skills, essential for our students to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Global Network

Since January 2018, Tenby Schools has been part of the International Schools Partnership – ISP. We belong to a global community of 82 schools with a shared purpose of growing the world’s most curious, confident minds.

Being part of ISP opens a world of opportunities for our students. They connect with peers worldwide, engaging in transformative learning experiences beyond the classroom. Through our co-curricular activities and participation in the ISP International Learning Opportunities for Students (ILOS) programme, our students pursue their passions and develop life competencies. From cultural exchanges and filmmaking to debating in the ISP Model United Nations, they become confident, well-rounded global citizens.

Our holistic approach prepares students not just for exams but for the destination of their choice. Our comprehensive career and university support structures guide our students to make informed decisions about their future pathways. With the exclusive range of scholarships and partnerships our students and families are supported with opportunities to explore potential career and academic portfolios, making them more accessible.

Voices of Tenby Schools

Tenby Schools SEP has been an amazing experience, not just for our two sons, but also for us as parents. Our boys are always motivated by their teachers to grow to their full potential, developing social skills, self-confidence & independence. We truly appreciate how the teachers impart good moral values and cultivate a growth mindset which is perfectly aligned to our parenting philosophy. We couldn’t be happier to be part of the Tenby community ♥️

I love Tenby Schools SEP as the people that encompass the school are an accepting community whom pay no regard to the skin colour, race or gender of an individual. The plethora of colours oozing out of the walls scream pure ambition as I see myself far in the future surrounded by those that I hold dear who are all succeeding together. Tenby Schools SEP is preparing me for the future, for my future, and I love Tenby for that.

Studying Popular Music at Goldsmiths is everything I had hoped for, and more. It’s a tough and extremely hectic course but I’m learning new things every day. Studying my choice of A Level subjects definitely helped lead me on the right path.

I am so grateful for the time I spent in Sekolah Sri Tenby. Instead of following the mainstream blindly, the teachers encouraged me to explore my own possibilities and trust my own instincts. Thanks to that, I am currently pursuing my dream to explore the business world.
