Discover

Every day across our six campuses in Malaysia, we embark on a journey of transformation and discovery, guided by the International Schools Partnership’s Learning.First™ approach.

It means that we always put learners and their learning first. We honour our students as collaborators in the learning process. We’re creating environments where ‘amazing learning’ happens – learning that goes beyond our students and families expectations – amazing and surprising us with the transformational impact.

Tenby Schools Heritage

Our story begins in 1960, when Tenby Schools first opened as a kindergarten for British expatriates in Ipoh. Since then, we have grown into one of the largest groups of private international schools in South-East Asia with six campuses throughout Peninsular Malaysia.

We are one of the few educational groups in the country to operate a dual-stream system so that families can choose either the best of private local (Sekolah Sri Tenby) or British international (Tenby International School) education. We focus on developing the knowledge and lifelong skills that help our students thrive beyond their time at school.

Global Network

We are proud to part of the International Schools Partnership – ISP, since January 2018. We are a global community of schools with a shared purpose of growing the world’s most curious, confident minds.

Being part of the ISP global family opens a world of possibilities for our students. They get the chance to connect with fellow young minds across the globe, engaging in transformative learning experiences that extend well beyond the classroom boundaries.

Through our co-curricular activities and participation in ISP International Learning Opportunities for Students – ILOS programme – ranging from cultural exchanges and filmmaking to debating in the ISP Model United Nations – our students pursue their passions, develop their life competences, and are prepared to be confident, well-rounded global citizens.

ISP’s comprehensive career and university support structures guide our students to make informed decisions about their future pathways. With the exclusive range of scholarships and partnerships our students and families are supported with opportunities to explore potential career and academic portfolios, making them more accessible.

Voices of Tenby Schools

Tenby Schools SEP has been an amazing experience, not just for our two sons, but also for us as parents. Our boys are always motivated by their teachers to grow to their full potential, developing social skills, self-confidence & independence. We truly appreciate how the teachers impart good moral values and cultivate a growth mindset which is perfectly aligned to our parenting philosophy. We couldn’t be happier to be part of the Tenby community ♥️

Parents at Sekolah Sri Tenby

I love Tenby Schools SEP as the people that encompass the school are an accepting community whom pay no regard to the skin colour, race or gender of an individual. The plethora of colours oozing out of the walls scream pure ambition as I see myself far in the future surrounded by those that I hold dear who are all succeeding together. Tenby Schools SEP is preparing me for the future, for my future, and I love Tenby for that.

Studying Popular Music at Goldsmiths is everything I had hoped for, and more. It’s a tough and extremely hectic course but I’m learning new things every day. Studying my choice of A Level subjects definitely helped lead me on the right path.

I am so grateful for the time I spent in Sekolah Sri Tenby. Instead of following the mainstream blindly, the teachers encouraged me to explore my own possibilities and trust my own instincts. Thanks to that, I am currently pursuing my dream to explore the business world.
